Sales quota

Sales quota is a mechanism that limits the number of items that can be sold for a specific date or time period. It is used to manage inventory and ensure that products are not oversold.

Sales quota can be defined for products and product variants. When an item is sold, the sales quota is decreased accordingly.

Important

It is not possible to initialize sales quota directly via API or Partner Portal. Contact us if you need to set up sales quota for your products.

How sales quota works

When product has sales quota defined, the availability calendar will take sales quota into account when calculating the available count for each date.

Supported products

Currently only Skidata products support sales quota.

How to adjust sales quota

If product has defined sales quota, it is possible to adjust the sales quota for specific dates via Partner Portal availability calendar section.
